The fulfilment house ships the products completely unprotected. Two of the three items I ordered arrived damaged, only the 8" pan arrived intact, probably due to its smaller size and the ratio of strength to weight and weight to volume.
You get two stars because the non-stick coating does perform well. However, you only get two stars because the aluminum pans you apply the coating to are cheap shit, that are barely strong enough not to bend & crack under their own weight.
The title says it all. The 12" pan is made very well, remains flat after repeated heating cycles and the non-stick is the best of all that we ever owned. However, DO NOT waste money on the 14" version because it is made NOTHING like the 12" and turns itself into a Wok when the bottom warps SEVERLY after a heating cycle or two.
The pan came warped-it was packed in a box that was too small. The handle was sticking out of the corner of the box when it arrived. Still trying to get it replaced!
Base of the pan started to peel after about a month. Never seen that before. Other than that, it’s been good so far and we use it often. The pan peeling is a concern though…
Good points about this fry pan are that it's light and easy to handle and that it heats up quickly. I tried using it without oil or butter (the claim is that these aren't needed) and found that's not a great idea because although the pan is fairly slick it's not perfectly so and if you don't oil or butter the pan some food items WILL stick and not just slide out. Also, oil and butter add flavor to the food.
